What is the extra bit of cable hanging off the side of the front cam cable? (6-pin connector) and can I cut it off?

The female 6-pin connector is designed for connecting a rear camera if you decide to add one in the future. This allows you to use the existing wiring already routed for an easy connection later on. This extra bit of cable should not be cut off. Inst
